IT?S ALMOST TIME FOR THIS YEAR?S GPOA BARBECUE


HAVE YOU RESERVED YOUR PLACE YET FOR THIS ONCE A YEAR, NEIGHBORHOOD PARTY
SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, FROM 3:30 ? 7PM?????

IF YOU?RE ON THE FENCE ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT TO ATTEND, HERE ARE A FEW
GREAT REASONS WHY YOU DON?T WANT TO MISS THIS AWESOME EVENT

1. It?s the easiest way possible to enjoy an outdoor barbecue supper with
your friends and neighbors!  There?s no muss and no fuss - this event is
totally catered by Novato?s award winning restaurant and catering service,
California Grill and Rotisserie.  Renowned local chef, Ken  Steffen, Jr.,
and his staff will prepare delicious

? Rotisserie chicken, pulled BBQ pork,

? Garlic bread, salad, and delicious side dishes

? Lemonade, ice tea and delicious cookies will be generously provided by
our sponsor, Caf? Z

The finest, reverse osmosis drinking water will be available for all
courtesy of our sponsor, the Water Store in Bon Air Center !

So, you have no excuse not to attend - after your Sunday activities, don?t
go home and turn on your oven - just show up at the BBQ with your family,
enjoy a great meal and HAVE FUN!!! (Advanced reservations are required to
guarantee a meal ticket.  Adults - $12, Seniors - $10. and children 12 and
under - $8).

2. There?ll be a totally awesome, live bluegrass band for your dining (and
dancing?) enjoyment!! Yes, the Bay Area?s own BACKYARD PARTY BOYS will be
performing this year.  They?re great and will really add a lot to the

3. We?ve got all kinds of entertainment for young and old, including:

? A super fun Jumpee to keep our youngest attendees entertained and happy
? generously donated by our Sponsor, THE WIPEOUT BAR AND GRILL!

? And a Climbing Wall for our older adventurers


? PLUS, hula hoop and jump rope demonstrations and instruction to
entertain, engage, and impress EVERYONE!!

? And, don?t forget the informal Soccer games for the whole family

4. The Fire Department and other local officials will be on hand to meet
and greet us (and maybe even let the kids on their fire engines)!

5.  It?s a great opportunity for you and your family to meet all of your
new neighbors who?ve moved to Greenbrae, Marin?s Best Neighborhood, and to
reconnect with your old friends and neighbors after summer vacation!

6.  We?ll be limiting our environmental impact at this GREEN event!   Our
caterer is providing us with Enviro-friendly 100% Compostable Chinet Paper
Plates, CornStarch Forks & Knives, Corn Starch 16 oz. Cups, & Recycled
Napkins.

7.  Your whole family will enjoy being part of this wonderful Event.
older kids will have the chance to volunteer for school community service
credit, and they?ll get a break from their homework for a few hours!
(Please note that everyone is encouraged to volunteer!!)
